4-12-09 Happy Easter!

Easter weekend in Sun Prairie has been a blast! My parents offered to host our family as well as Ted's parents. We all arrived Friday evening and enjoyed each other's company for a couple of hours before heading to bed. Saturday we woke up and met Oma and Opa at the hotel to swim in the pool! What fun that was! Madeleine really enjoyed the water. After we cleaned up and had brunch, we all went down to the state capitol for a tour and dinner by the square at "The Old Fashioned" - which is a hole in the wall serving classic Wisconsin fare. I had a brat and fried cheese curds - it doesn't get much more Wisconsin than that!

Sunday was off to church where we were invited to join the choir for the Hallelujah chorus at the end. Madeleine and I joined Grandma and Grandpa and sang our little hearts out. It was fun!
Now it's on to lunch and then we'll all hit the road. It's been a wonderful weekend, with beautiful weather and fun family. Happy Easter, everyone!
