10-19-09 - Fall Pict-o-rama!!

Today is supposed to be one of the last nice days of fall, so I took off from work about 2 hours early, picked up Madeleine from daycare, picked up Ted and we headed to Oxbow for some fall fun in the leaves! We took some pictures, played on the playground and hiked through the trails. On the way back to the car, we found a brown and black furry caterpillar that captured Madeleine's attention. It really was a perfect afternoon, and I'm very thankful that my friend Amanda told me how pretty it was out at Oxbow... which spurred the idea of taking off early and heading out. Thanks, Amanda! And thanks also to Ted for being such a great sport about giving up part of his afternoon nap time to go along with another one of my crazy ideas :) Today was really fun!
