We changed Julia's crib to a big girl bed this week. It was a very sudden move - as the evening before the switch she came into our room twice. Both times after we had put her in her crib. Hmmmm. She's done very well with it so far!
On Saturday, we headed up to the cities to meet up with the Acermans and Alts! What fun we had playing at the playground, splash pad, and having a picnic. It's wonderful and amazing how our friendships have endured and, and that we're moving on to the next stage in our lives - as families with SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN! Can't believe both M and Noel start in just a matter of weeks (sniff, sniff!)
So here's the LaCrosse crew - I'm on the left, next to Julia and Madeleine, Sarah is in the back with her little girl Brianna in the yellow. Noel is in front of Mama Jazz with Ruby rounding out the group.
Sarah and Brianna came home with us, and we had a great evening, then headed to Oxbow to enjoy the beautiful fall day. Brianna is going to be in a wedding in the spring, and she tried on the dress that J wore to Easter, and might wear M's for the wedding.
Julia and Brianna were really excited to take pictures of the three girls :)
