Well, it happened again! Our sweet girls turned a year older. Julia is four today, and Madeleine turned seven on Friday. We celebrated with a trail ride yesterday at the Lazy D Ranch by Whitewater State Park. Madeleine has been looking forward to this since last year, when she found out that 7 year olds (and up) can ride their own horse. We had some friends join us this year, and started with a picnic, followed by the ride and petting zoo. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! This morning, we got up and took a few birthday portraits before church.
