I'm pretty sure the Madeleine is the sweetest, cutest little girl in the whole world. She is certainly one of the most fun to dress! Today she's sporting a "so deer" shirt from Grandmama Sandi, and some khaki pants and pink chuck taylors that I bought while shopping with Oma this last weekend. The shoes and pants (and coordinating shirt - not shown) got the "Oma and Mommy" seal of approval for cuteness. It's sprinkling this morning, and Madeleine was fascinated by the wetness and raindrops on her head.
This past weekend was quite a bit of fun! We visited Oma and Opa in Illinois and had fun dancing to a couple of street musicians, window shopping, eating fun foods and running around a whole new house! Oma and Opa have an adorable little rocking chair that Ted used to sit in, and she was up and down and on and off of that chair all weekend long. She is quite the little climber and when we got home, she went into her room and climbed up on the big rocking chair and sat there proud as a peacock! She's so cute - but we really need to batten down the hatches now that she's climbing on things. This weekend's number one priority is to attach the strap to her bookshelf so it doesn't tip!
Enjoy the pictures, all - have a great week!
