1-18-09 sledding!

We went sledding today! Helen and Mike (our neighbors connecting to our backyard) have a walk-out ranch house, so there is a decent slope to their side lawn. We talked to them about sledding and they said we can come sledding down their side yard whenever we want, so today was the perfect day to try it out! Madeleine loved the ride over to Helen and Mike's. She kept saying "Whee" in the sled. Once we went down the hill, well, it all went downhill. Let's just say that Madeleine is not a fan of sledding. We tried four attempts, three with mommy on the sled too. Finally we gave up and she cried all the way home.

We'll give it a break and try again when we have a nice sledding day.
