1-1-09! Happy New Year!

Last night we celebrated the last day of 2008 with a Southern-themed dinner at Phil and Elizabeth's house. The dinner and company were superb! Madeleine and I slept over so I could watch movies and ring in the new year with Elizabeth. Phil and Madeleine both woke up just in time to ring in the new year with us! Of course, I took that as a photo op. She's on a marathon nap now, trying to make up for her spotty sleep in a strange place, and I imagine Phil is taking a marathon nap as well.
