2/12-16/2009 NY!

We had such a magical, wonderful weekend celebrating my sister Stacy and her husband Jason's wedding in New York! We arrived in NY on Friday and after dinner we left Madeleine with Dad, dropped Mom off at the hotel and took an impromptu trip into NYC. That was just the right note to start the weekend off on - kind of a combined Bachelorette/Bachelor party with just the four of us. Perfect! Saturday was a lovely tea with our family and Stacy and Jason's dear friends Joe and Margaret, then it was on to the Rehearsal and followed by dinner. Sunday was the wedding and reception - and Stacy was honestly the most beautiful bride EVER! So, so pretty - a look enhanced by her radiant smile and handsome arm candy... I mean new husband. Monday we headed to West Point before hopping a flight home. Madeleine did great on all four legs of the flights (there and back). We found out that she doesn't sleep on planes, except when descending into our destination. :) We were so proud of our little bear, though. She did great this weekend!
