5-10-09 Mother's Day

What a lucky girl we have. Madeleine got to start the day with her daddy getting her up and ready for church - then she not only got to spend the morning with us, but she got to start her day with two of her favorite people - GM Elizabeth and GP Phil! Chuck and Babs, the Decker family and John and Josh Pritchard were all at church today too. A note about who Josh is: there are three children at our church that were born within four days of each other - which is odd, considering that there were only about half a dozen couples in their "child bearing years". Most Episcopalians are WELL into their "Grandchildren spoiling years." Anyway, Madeleine is the oldest, born on 8/8 - I think Josh is three days younger than Madeleine - born on 8/11 :) The third amigo is a little guy named Levi who was born on 8/12 - but I don't think I've ever seen them at the 8:00 service. Someday we'll get all three kids together for a picture... some day. The rest of the day is going to be very exciting - we're all taking a nap, then we're going to go hiking at Oxbow. Hopefully the bluebells are out again like they were last year! Have a great day!
