It's been another busy week at the Schmidt house! Last Thursday, we took the girls to Whistle Binkies for our semi-annual polka-fest! The girls charmed the old folks and the band - which wasn't too tall of an order. The band and old folks were pretty willing to be charmed.
On Friday, we went to a housewarming party for my friend Beth. Madeleine thought it was pretty neat to sit on the window sill, and was completely enthralled with Blue's Clues.
Saturday morning was Craft time! We had a lot of fun making Easter cards. 
The tea party wore Madeleine out.
Then on Sunday we had a tea party with Ian and Melanie - and their mommies!

That brings us to today - week 36! And since Julia never really lost her hair like Madeleine did, I thought we'd try out pigtails. Yes, I know they're utterly ridiculous, but how CUTE are they?!
And, after dance class, we got Madeleine in on the act for pictures. And she participated! And smiled! The stars aligned, I guess.
