Feb 9 was a very busy Saturday! We started off with haircuts for the girls. M decided she was tired of her super-long hair getting caught in her jacket, so she ASKED to get it cut! What a breakthrough! She has refused to have her hair cut since she first saw the Rapunzel movie and decided that if she cut her hair, it would lose it's magic powers. Since we were taking in M, we decided J could use a trim, too. Her hair was getting a little scraggly. They both did great, and look so cute!
After haircuts, my folks "magically arrived" for a visit. They came to town to babysit while Ted and I ran a 1/2 marathon here in town -- but the race was cancelled. We still had a lovely time reading, playing with the Appa-jungle-gym, and pretending to be unicorns. The next morning we made scones (with home-made whipped cream, Julia tested/Julia approved), and scones for breakfast. In our tutus, of course. We are very fancy at our house :) After the grands departed, it was cuddle time before bed. Overall - a great weekend!
