We had such a lovely weekend! It actually started a little early - on Thursday - when Madeleine had dress rehearsal for Saturday's recital.
On Friday, John and Barb arrived, and after dinner, we took a walk to the park. Such fun!
On Saturday morning, Barb and I headed to the Farmer's market, where we bought a cinnamon roll for the girls, and asparagus to grill for dinner - YUM!
After the farmer's market, Barb and I took the girls to a massive playground so they could burn off some energy before the recital. It worked, because Julia was SO well behaved at the recital! She just snuggled and watched for the entire performance.
After the recital, Julia took a long nap - we got some pictures of M and the grands, and then fired up the grill for dinner with Elizabeth. She brought Charlie, and her nephew Andrew to enjoy the feast.
John and Barb came over for brunch today, and left shortly before noon. Overall, it's been a fantastic weekend!
