10/20/13 - How Tall this fall? Pumpkin Patch

Today we made our annual trek to Apple Ridge to get our pumpkins and apples for the season. We were hoping to meet up with Jazz + Fam, but it was so cold and miserable, we decided early in the morning to reschedule our play date. After a day of being cooped up inside, though, the Schmidt clan needed to get out. We set out to dodge the rain showers and risk the mud and head up for some fun. We were chilly, and it misted most of the time we were there, but we got our pumpkins, picked a few apples, ran through the mazes quickly and headed home before the rain really started coming down. Certainly a change from last year when we went in shorts! Brr!

When we got home, the girls enjoyed some hot chocolate before hopping in the tub to de-mud. Even with less-than-optimal weather, we had a good time. Enjoy the pictures!
