9/2-3/09 - trip to Chicago and Sun Prairie

We had a mid-week vacation this week! Ted had tickets to the Cubs game on Wednesday, so we met up with John and Barb and while Ted and John went to the Cubs game, Barb and I took Madeleine to the Brookfield zoo. We had fun with exhibits like the butterfly garden and the carousel, and really, really loved brushing the goats! On Thursday, we spent the day with Amma and Appa in Sun Prairie and took a trip to a fun park. Overall, it's been a lovely, sunny week, and we were glad to spend the time outside!
