We had family pictures taken tonight - it was a bit of a struggle! Madeleine politely declined her nap today, so our 4:00 picture session was not probably her best hour. We got two (yes, two) shots of her smiling. We had a grand vision of her in front of the beautiful Christmas tree reading "Llama Llama" to her teddy bear Baby - and that did not fly AT ALL - but we did get this adorable shot of her mocking the photographer. She's laughing because she thinks it's awfully funny to cover your face instead of letting the photographer see your smile. Nice, right? Oh, well - it's an adorable picture. We're very pleased with the family picture - it was the only one where we're all smiling - and we had to get a shot of Madeleine's "sassy chapeau" - isn't it adorable?! Well - enjoy the pictures :) They don't hold a candle to Amanda's, but they'll do for a quickie holiday pic to add to the collection from the last couple years.
