12-2-09 Ten little fingers....

Guess who is very thrilled with her little self? Madeleine, of course!! We tried out our new gloves today, and she thought it was the COOLEST thing that all her fingers had their own place. She was so enthralled that she only wanted me to take pictures of the gloves, and if I tried to get a wide shot, she ran up to the camera with her hands out :)

As far as just a general update... She is too, too fun. She has really gotten quite verbal in the last several months - her vocabulary has exploded! She's getting into several word phrases, and loves to sing. She can get through most of the alphabet song, and loves to sing "Old McDonald" and "Ring around the Rosy". Every night we read a story before she cuddles up for bed - must haves before sleeping include a blankie and staff of at least five to ten stuffed animals. Some slots are open for rotation, but she MUST have Baby (her build-a-bear from Kathy), and Pooh Bear. She loves to eat bananas for breakfast, has a fondness for cranberry sauce (?!) and loves (LOVES!!!) ice cream. Especially the pumpkin ice cream her Godfather Phil made for Thanksgiving. She was asking for that before we even finished dinner last night. She also now answers if her diaper needs to be changed. Last night, we asked if she had a stinky diaper, and she replied, "Nope! I'm dry!"... so maybe we'll work on potty training again. She sits on the potty, and puts her stuffed animals on the potty, but neither one of them really do anything once they are there. Ahh, some day. Some day we'll all use the potty :) Until then, we'll keep accruing Pampers Points :)
