To say the very least, this has been one of the very best Christmases ever! We arrived in Sun Prairie on Christmas Eve, dressed for church and enjoyed a lovely service. When we got home, Madeleine and Jake put out "reindeer food" (oats and glitter) for Roudolf and his friends. Then, we came in and opened just a few presents. Madeleine really "gets it" now that she's three. She had fun opening presents and was a great little elf handing out gifts to everyone else. After a couple gifts, it was time for bed, and awaiting Santa's debut! The next morning, we unloaded our stockings, and found that Santa had been very generous, indeed! We opened the rest of the presents and then played and relaxed a bit (taking turns napping with Julia) before heading to the backyard for sledding. We've got lots more playing to do before we part ways, so this is just "part one" of the pictures :) Enjoy! And merry Christmas!
