7-15-11 Summer fun!

It's been a big couple of days! Our little vegetable patch is bearing... no, not fruit. VEGETABLES! Yay! We have both peas and tiny little beans. After her manicure, and watering the peas, Madeleine picked the inaugural pea pod and proclaimed it delicious!







Julia's new trick is standing. She's been doing great - if we get her to standing, she'll hang on and play on the higher surfaces for quite a while.


We have also been playing with a fun new toy! It's just a plastic tube with holes in it - but it makes a fascinating and fun sprinkler.





Then I got artsy with my camera. Fast shutter speed....

So remember how I *JUST* said that if we get J to standing, she'll stand there by herself? After her morning nap, she decided she could just take us out of the equation and stand by herself.



Madeleine and worked on a fun project today. In preparation for her birthday party in a couple of weeks, we made a "kid car wash" for the kids to run through. I can't WAIT for the joints to dry!
