It's been a great Father's Day! We woke up and made daddy his FAVORITE breakfast - omelets with mushrooms, tomatoes, ham and spinach. Madeleine was very proud to be slicing up the vegetables, with just a little bit of help.
After breakfast,we headed out to one of our favorite family destinations - the beach! So much fun on a sunny, 80 degree day! This was our first beach trip of the season, and we hope to have many more this summer.

We brought swim diapers, but forgot to change Julia into one before taking her into the water. For those keeping track at home, this is what a fully soaked regular Pampers looks like. Perhaps the origin of "baby's got back" was inspired by a similar trip to the beach. Poor Julia :)
We changed our sweet Jewel into a swim diaper and bigger suit and then took some time to catch rays and pictures.
