We've had a lovely day! We woke up to snuggly girls and then went to see Santa.
After getting home, we headed to church. The service offers an opportunity for the kids to be involved through taking up the statues for the nativity at appropriate times.
Then they can watch the blessing of the sacraments up close. Julia stepped down from the crowd, walked over to the nativity, and after looking at it for a couple minutes, picked up baby Jesus and held it over her head, and yelled to Madeleine, "Look B.C. - a BABY!!" ... LOL ... I ran up the aisle, put Jesus back in the manger, and took Julia back to the pew.
After church, it was time for our annual family picture, and time to open presents. Mom made M&J beautiful princess gowns, and the girls immediately changed for the rest of the presents.
Ted gave me a beautiful gold band to compliment my ring, and also for something to wear when I'm running. My high setting gets caught on my gloves, and it will be nice to have a smooth ring. :)
Then we went outside to feed the reindeer. Julia immediately started to eat the glitter/oatmeal mix... oops!
Now it's time for sleep and waiting for Santa! Merry Christmas, everyone!
