6-29-10 Celebrating 3 a little early :)

Ted and I decided to get Madeleine a bike for her third birthday - what fun! We picked one that got excellent reviews at Toys R Us, and brought it home tonight. We thought that we'd give it to her early because there's going to be SO much going on in early August, and we wanted her to be able to enjoy it most of the summer. She had fun getting on and off, riding and walking, and it's going to take a bit of working to get the whole peddling thing. For right now, she's doing pretty well steering. It's going to be a bit of a project with a learning curve :) Thankfully, a good portion of our route is downhill, so once we've gone UP the hill, the rest is smooth sailing.
