This morning we started out with a lovely Skype session with Jake and Aunt Stacy! Madeleine announced she wanted Mickey Mouse pancakes... and poor Jake got excited that they may be on his docket for the day as well. Only he had already eaten breakfast. So I guess he was hoping for a second course :) We did make pancakes, and I don't know how much they look like Mickie Mouse... but we thought they were cute!
After breakfast, we headed to the 17th annual Paws and Claws pet walk. Ted hosts it each year, along with his co-worker Jess. They do a great job as celebrity walkers, and the whole family had a good time. Madeleine was just enchanted with the dandelions! And several people took pictures of her with the bouquet she assembled. It's sunny and wonderful out, so that means a trip to Oxbow for us, and then grilling tonight - just in time for the Kentucky Derby! We hope that all of our faithful followers have a lovely day as well.
