We FINALLY took our Christmas tree to the compost place today! It's been on our deck since shortly after Christmas, and it's been too snowy (plus cold and windy) to wrap it up and put it in the car - but today it made it's grand exit! While on the way to the compost place, Madeleine fell asleep in the car. We had promised her that we'd take her to the park after dropping off the tree, so we decided to drive around a little to extend her nap time. There's a city about 15 miles from our house called "Chester," and they have a (state? county?) park there called Chester Woods. There's great swimming and picnicking there in the summer, so we hoped there would be some playgrounds for us to try out. We weren't disappointed! Madeleine got in about a half hour nap, and it was warm enough that we could go barefoot in the nice sand. We had fun swinging, running, exploring, and had a 'hair raising' adventure on the slide. Ted took some pictures of my 18 week baby belly, and we had a grand time in general. I am anticipating some solid sleep tonight! Enjoy the pictures.
