3-6-10 Fun Saturday!

What a fun day we've had so far ... and it's only 2:30! This morning, I brought Madeleine's Ikea igloo up from storage. She hasn't had this out and up since the house was on the market last year. She had a blast putting her chairs in the tent and then looking out the back screen. From my point of view, though, it looked like she was putting herself in a time out! And then she wanted Daddy and Lucy to join her :) After we were done with the tent (for now) we decided to go to the park across the street. Madeleine dressed up in her new Cubs wind suit (with Daddy's encouragement/help) and we had to get some cute pictures of the fans before heading to the park. Once we got to the park, we found that swinging and sledding on a nice day are just as much fun when there's snow on the ground as when there isn't any. Plus, with snow, you can make snow angels! Madeleine also discovered the fun of all going down the slides at the same time. She went down with Daddy a couple of times, then with Mommy, and then all three of us went down.

After returning home, Madeleine decided her tent should be in her room... with every thing she owns in it. She had been quiet for a while, and when I found her - the tent was as you see it below... although I'm not sure the pictures do it justice! Someone's room is getting a good cleaning tonight as we put all that stuff away!! Enjoy the pictures, I'm sure we'll have more fun as the day progresses :)
