6-11-11 Hiking!

Julia is SO CLOSE to having her little bottom teeth poke through! I took advantage of her wide open, screaming mouth to take a picture of her "almost" teeth. Any day now she'll be moving from mushy carrots to steak!

After the morning freak out that resulted from us not feeding her fast enough, Julia was very relaxed as we got ready for the day. Notice Julia's poor nose. She decided to try extreme couch diving last night. Break.my.heart. I wasn't paying attention and she pitched forward. So, ten months in, our baby had her first bloody nose.


Today was a family road trip day. We went to the Maiden Rock Winery in Stockholm, WI and had fun with their landscaping. :)





After Stockholm, we took advantage of the Minnesota State Parks open house and went hiking at Whitewater State Park. It was a steep climb up to the top of the ridge, but there were BEAUTIFUL vistas from the trail! Of course, a steep climb up means an equally steep descent. We hiked a smaller loop than last time and were out for just over an hour. A good time was had by most. Julia let everyone in the park know that she was DONE about 45 minutes in to the hike. She was upset for about ten or fifteen minutes and then got verrrry snuggly. :) Overall, it's been a lovely day! Enjoy the pictures.
