Ted and I have been doing a workout video - it's something we can do together and a fun way to tone up. Madeleine has dubbed it "Mousekercize" and does it with us. It is about 1000 times funnier than it looks here, and it's really hard for us to focus on Jillian Michaels with our own little helper.
Then, Tuesday was week 45! We're getting close to the point where we can count the weeks to her first birthday on one hand - how did that happen?!
Wednesday, Madeleine got up and dressed herself. That's all that needs to be said about that.
That night, we met the Kelloggs for fun at the Rochesterfest kid's night!
Then, tonight was the Rochesterfest parade - again with the Kelloggs. We had a great time, saw Daddy handing out candy, and enjoyed dinner at a local place by a grassy plaza downtown. Amanda and I were running and chasing (and being chased) by the older kids, while the little ones cuddled on their daddys' laps. After dinner, it was time for more running, and playing in the fountain. THAT was quite the hit! When we were getting wrapped up and ready to go, a lady stopped by our table and said that if she dies and comes back as a child, she wants to be one of our kids, because we are great parents and it looked like we were having a great time together. We took that as a high compliment, and told her so. I thought it was a really nice thing to say, and are so glad that we do enjoy our family so much that it shows. Overall it's been a great, if busy, week!
