6-25-11 running

On Saturday morning, I ran my fourth 5K of the summer. I did pretty well, with my best time yet (31:48). While I was running, Madeleine was chasing Bryson and his cool ride :)




After the 5K, there was a kids' fun run. It was a 1/2 mile race and Madeleine had been looking forward to it since I told her about it the day before. She did GREAT! And all the kids got participation medals. I hope she enjoyed it and would like to do more. The 1/2 mile was pretyt easy for her, and I really think she could have done the full mile!
