((note: I just noticed that this post was saved in a draft and never published!))Yesterday, Ted was "volunteered" to be the centerpiece of the KTTC bed race entry. KTTC was the primary sponsor of the charity event, so their entry was more for show than anything. Their title? "Ted on a Bed" - after the starting gun went off, Ted had to put on his pajamas, then helmet, then jump in the bed for his colleagues to race him around the block. They won the first heat, but lost the last one - but had a great time regardless! Since style points were awarded, we made Ted look like a giant storm cloud, complete with rain and lightening :)
Today is Father's Day. I can't think of a better picture to show what a loving, and sweet daddy Ted is than this one. Ted and Julia took a little siesta mid-morning. He started out holding her, then slumped a little, then relaxed onto the sofa, and then the next time I looked over, they were both out :) We've had a great day, that included brunch at Whistle Binkies, a family jog and some relaxing time outdoors. It's been very low key, and perfect!
