7-5-07 Wee Heavy

What does every pregnant lady do on her day off? Brew beer, of course! We think this will be the last batch before Miss Madeleine makes her appearance, and we wanted to get it in so that the brew will be ready to go for the well-wishers that come to visit our baby :)

This batch is a Scotch Ale (like McEwan's) - we don't have a catchy name yet, but we'll come up with something before bottling in a couple of weeks.

Yesterday was lovely, Ted and I really enjoyed just bopping around picking up brewing supplies, grilling and brewing beer. What a wonderful day! We hope that your fourth was as lovely as ours. ~ Cara
