Today has been a remarkably wonderful day!! When we arrived at the hospital this morning, the staff greeted us by name and said that it's been a quiet morning and nothing had come up that would postpone our surgery. We prepped and Julia Addison was born about 90 minutes after we arrived! 8 lbs, 3 oz - 19.5 inches long. She's been a sweet, sweet girl so far - lots of hair, and big lungs! Madeleine visited with Amma and Appa shortly after noon, and we hope that she's in love. She was excited to see the baby, more excited to get a big sister present from her, and then informed us she was a puppy the rest of the time she was here. She takes after her momma - right down to licking Amma's leg. Hey - at least she didn't pee on it.... lol. She got a bit clingy before heading back to Sun Prairie, but I think she did GREAT!
